Accessibility Statement
Effective May 13, 2026
The Spot is committed to making our website and our programs accessible to people with disabilities. This statement describes the measures we take, the standard we aim to meet, and how to reach us if something is not working.
1. Standard we aim for
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA. Conformance is an ongoing process, and some pages may not yet meet every criterion. We test the site regularly, prioritize fixes, and track progress.
2. What we have done so far
- Semantic HTML throughout, with logical heading hierarchy.
- Keyboard-accessible navigation and visible focus styles.
- Color combinations chosen for high contrast — body text achieves at least 7:1 contrast against the dark background (WCAG AAA).
- Respect for the
prefers-reduced-motionsetting — animations are reduced or removed for visitors who request it. - Decorative images, icons, and motion are marked
aria-hidden; informational images have descriptive alt text. - Forms are labeled, error messages are tied to inputs, and required fields are announced.
3. Known limitations
Third-party services we use — primarily Stripe Checkout for payment — are not controlled by us, and their accessibility is governed by their own statements. If you encounter a barrier there, please contact us so we can help complete your booking another way.
4. Accessibility at our facility
For questions about physical accessibility — wheelchair access, adaptive equipment, sensory accommodations, or program modifications for a participant with a disability — please contact us before booking so we can plan a great experience together.
5. Feedback and contact
If you encounter an accessibility barrier on this site or in a program, please tell us. Include the page URL or program name, a brief description of the problem, and how to reach you.

We aim to respond within 5 business days and to fix confirmed barriers as quickly as we can.
